This seminar offers a timely opportunity to reflect on the fascinating relationships between conflict, migration and identity in modern Irish history and culture. This conference will explore the Irish experience within transnational and global trends and contexts, and will feature lectures, talks, performances and masterclasses on the histories, sociology and literatures of migration, conflict and identity by world-renowned Irish and international academics, artists and commentators, including Professor Joe Lee (New York University), Professor Bridget Anderson (University of Oxford), Professor Joe Cleary (Maynooth University) and Professor Enda Delaney (University of Edinburgh).
