It’s hard to believe we are into the final countdown in our bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2020! It’s all hands on deck here as our Bid Book was sent off to the printers earlier in the week, and will be officially submitted on Friday 17th June. Then it’s just four short weeks until the European Capital of Culture’s panel visits the Three Sisters region!
We’ve still managed to find a little time to let you know about some of the weekend’s hottest happenings, despite all the action at Three Sisters HQ. You’ve all been doing a great job of showing your support on social media – but don’t stop now, these last four weeks are crucial! So as always, to thank us for planning your weekend, we’re asking you to like and share our Facebook posts, follow, like and re-tweet us on Twitter using #BitForTheBid and like our great fantastic images on Instagram.
Now, let’s get talking about the superb events taking place throughout the Three Sisters this weekend.
